Since I first made this recipe, It became a lazy weekend ritual to bake these little delights and satisfy my sweet cravings.
These white chocolate chip cookies are to die for! They're crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside and taste amazing.
Are you ready to make the best batch of cookies in the world? Lets get started!
You'll need:
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 white sugar
3/4 cup melted butter
1 egg
1 egg yolk
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 cup white chocolate chips
Method:
1. preheat oven to 170 C
2. in a medium bowl, sieve through your flour, baking soda and salt then mix.
3. in a seperate bowl, add your brown sugar, white sugar and melted butter, mix to combine.
4. add egg, egg yolk and vanilla extract, stir.
5. add dry ingredients to your wet ingredients and stir to combine using a wooden spoon. mix in chocolate chips.
6. cover with plastic wrap and put in the fridge for 20 minutes.
7. place baking paper on two baking trays and roll dough into small balls and place 5cm apart. Bake for 13-15 minutes.
Notes:
you can use any chocolate chips you like, make sure to break them to smaller sizes if they're too big. If you like you can change the chocolate chips to raisins or nuts like macadamias.
